ANR Update

Dear colleagues: As part of the university's commitment to transparency and public accountability, including the way it compensates faculty and staff, UC is conducting its annual disclosure of systemwide employee compensation for calendar year 2022.

UC ANR welcomes Tom Turini as the Strategic Initiative leader for Endemic and Invasive Pests and Diseases and Josh Davy as the SI leader for Sustainable Natural Ecosystems.

Current status: All UC ANR websites that have been updated in 2023 have been restored. The main website has also stabilized and has been consistently up for more than 48 hours. The team has been working to resolve issues and errors quickly.

Dahlquist-Willard named interim SAREP director The past few years have intensified challenges to sustainability in California agriculture. At the same time, new opportunities for UC ANR programs to meet these challenges have arisen.

UC ANR will be making additional travel support available for UC Cooperative Extension specialists to collaborate directly with CE advisors or research and extension center directors in FY 2023/24.
