Peaches simply say summer.  Preserve the bounty with us by making pickles with them at this in-person, hands-on workshop.

Registration includes jars, lids, ingredients, peaches, resource material, use of UC Master Food Preserver equipment and of course awesome MFP help.

You’ll learn how to use an atmospheric steam canner, how to prepare peaches for any canning, how to make peach pickles, and sample different flavored peach pickles.  Each registered person will go home with 2 to 3 pints of peach pickles they make and a recipe handout.

Please bring an apron, a box to hold your pint jars to take them home, and a couple of small hand towels or other item of protection to keep the jars separated in the box.
