Associate Vice President, Finance and Capital Planning (Interim)

Jennifer Bunge serves as the Interim Associate Vice President for Finance and Capital Planning for UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR), where she provides strategic leadership for the division’s financial management, capital planning, and resource allocation functions. In this role, she oversees the development and implementation of fiscal strategies, ensures compliance with University and regulatory policies, and guides long-term capital planning to support UC ANR’s statewide mission.

Prior to this appointment, Jennifer served as Executive Director of Resource Planning & Management, directing a team responsible for administering, analyzing, and reporting on approximately $300 million annually from diverse funding sources, including state, federal, county, endowment, capital, investment, and other funds. She has extensive experience in budget policy, forecasting, federal compliance, and interdepartmental coordination across UC campuses and the UC Office of the President.

Jennifer began her UC career in 1999 and has advanced through a variety of fiscal leadership roles. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds degrees in accounting and marketing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In addition to her financial leadership, she has contributed to systemwide initiatives such as the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW) and the UCOP mentorship program.
