Hands on Workshop to teach attendees how to safely pressure can salmon and vegetable stock. We will cover the fundamentals of pressure canning, including why certain foods must be pressure canned vs boiling water canned.

4-H Enrollment Night: Drive up and get help enrolled in 4-H. Ask all your questions about 4-H and what it entails.

Youth ages 5-18 are invited to come make three jars of a jam or jelly of their choice (apple, strawberry, peach or grape), then take one home and enter the other two in the 2024 El Dorado County Fair! Bring your own fruit and the Master Food Preservers will provide everything else.

General Description: This class is offered by rose lovers for rose lovers! We will teach you pruning and propagation techniques for your home rose garden.

Fruit Tree Grafting Our dormant season (late winter to early spring) is a wonderful time to expand the options in your fruit orchard and home vineyard. Join our instructors as they demonstrate how to graft different varieties of fruit trees to provide an abundant, varied crop.
