Concours dElegance is an antique and classic car show held at Ironstone Winery in Murphys. It is a fund raiser for 4-H in the foothill counties, FFA, and State Fair scholarships.

Open a jar of the sweet taste of summer. Not only do you get to learn the basics of boiling water canning you will also learn how to make and preserve dessert toppings. In addition, you will learn how to make homemade ice cream! FREE class, registration required. Register with this link.

Cherries, all ways!! Learn how to turn this tasty fruit into a variety of preserved foods. Well cover different preservation techniques, plenty of recipes and tips, and inspiration for using your preserves. Class is free and includes a handout with 2 demonstration recipes.

A regular workday at the demo garden on Thursdays, 1pm to 6pm/dusk. The gate will indeed be open and members of the public are welcome to drop in and enjoy the garden and ask for advice. There will be public demos and plant sales.
