Sacramento County 4-H has four expanded learning programs: 4-H On The Wild Side, 4-H Water Wizards, 4-H Youth Experiences in Science (YES), and 4-H Cooking Academy.

Shooting Sports Events

Through the California 4-H Shooting Sports Program, 4-H youth: Learn about the safe handling of firearms and archery equipment; Increase skills and knowledge; Develop self-confidence; Practice leadership as youth leaders.

Primary Projects

Kids aged 5 to 8 can join 4-H as Primary Members, also known as Cloverbuds. Primary Member projects and activities are based on research on positive youth development. Positive youth development means helping you grow by giving you chances to learn, make choices, and build skills.
