Happy Memorial Day! Memorial Day is one of the federal holidays in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It is observed on the last Monday of May.

Spring & Summer Vegetables Overview of planting your spring vegetables, and seeding your summer garden. Class will cover gardening from seed to harvest. Focus is on soil health and best practices for keeping your soil alive and well.

Learn the art and science behind composting from a local Certified Master Composter. Learn about the importance of managing your organic waste (food scraps and yard trimmings) at home. As the drought worsens and the climate warms, home-based waste management has never been more relevant.
